Alright, since the last journal I wrote was last April, I thought it might be time to write another one. Especially with all the great stuff that's been happening to me lately.
To start, I recently got my schedule for my next quarter at the Art Institute of Colorado. And I have my first ever animation class then, so I'm really excited for that. Also, I recently made a flip book for a class of mine, and it's pretty sweet. Once I get it back I'll have to try and figure out how to make it a video and post it here. And then the morning after that I finished writing a book (still unedited, but finished nonetheless). It's an awesome book; it's a sort of post-apocalypse zombie invasion sort of book, only my creatures are better than zombies. 128 full length pages, just over 72,000 words. And I wrote it all in under a month, which is quite an accomplishment. I'll post it on deviantart if it sounds like something you'd want to read.
I recently decided that I'm going to be throwing a Halloween party at my house, and parties are always fun (especially costume parties). It'll give me a chance to get really creative with the decorations and the food.
And on top of all that, I finally managed to get a date with someone that I've been trying to get a date with for the past two years, so that's a pretty major achievement for me. Course, getting a date at all is a pretty major achievement for me, but that's not really the point. The only bad part about it is her hectic work schedule, which we're going to have to work around before we can actually do anything.
Not to mention I only two weeks left of classes for this quarter, and then I get a week off. The only down side to that is that none of my friends have the same schedule as me since they go to different schools, but a week off from school is always a great thing.
And while a lot of these things may sound just like little things to you, it's always the little things in life that I treasure the most. My life is too boring to expect hugely fantastic things all the time, so when enough little moments pile up, I feel pretty amazing.
